Who are we

While I was at the DSO, one thing I noticed was the endless stream of marketing agencies trying to sell me things they clearly didn’t understand. It was CRAZY. I have nearly 20 years of experience in this space, and yet these agencies—some of them wildly successful—would pitch me strategies that were completely irrelevant to what we actually needed. The sad truth is they thrive by taking advantage of dentists’ lack of marketing knowledge, selling them things they don’t need. That frustration is a huge part of why I started Dental Marketing Lab. Practices deserve better.

Hi, I’m the founder of Dental Marketing Lab. I’ve always had an insane love for marketing. From the time I was young, I was drawn to the idea of how a message could inspire someone to take action. That passion turned into a career where I had the privilege of helping Lumio Dental grow from just a few practices to more than 65.

But here’s the truth: I didn’t learn marketing from a book. I learned it in the trenches. I’ve stood on the corner in a tooth costume spinning signs (that’s me in the tooth above). I’ve run Facebook ads, built websites, stamped 10,000 direct mail pieces by hand, and even answered phones at the front desk so I could truly understand what patients and team members experience every day. I’ve seen firsthand how different the challenges are when you’re at 3 practices versus 30—and how everything changes once you hit 40+ locations. At that stage, it’s all about building systems that scale: things like website templates that can be launched in two weeks, or online stores where offices can order branded apparel, collateral, or patient paperwork without bottlenecks. I’ve lived it, and I know what it takes.

Beyond marketing, I’m a wife of almost 20 years and a proud mom of two amazing kids. Our family is rooted in Bixby, Oklahoma—where, yes, our football team was just ranked #1 in the nation (a little hometown brag 😅). My kids keep me running between football, soccer, softball, and basketball games, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

That mix of family, community, and real-world experience is what drives how I work with clients. I don’t believe in fluff or buzzwords. I believe in honest, scrappy, smart marketing that delivers results and scales with you as you grow.
